Michaelangelo and Leonardo DaVinci are used as examples of Renaissance men because their style are totally different from Renaissance men. Leonardo DaVinci used using a dark three-dimensional effect is his painting but Michaelangelo's painting looks like life-like and real. Their painting had change the world, their work are great and many people follow their painting style.

Perhaps these two men are exemplars of the Renaissance who are completely different from artists of the Middle Ages.
